Indian inspired Pizza
Pizza is one of my favorite foods. I could eat it pretty much every day, not even joking. But I get bored of the same old tomato sauce/mozzarella cheese combo, so I try to mix it up. Some combinations are more successful than others, and the pizza I made last night was a definite winner. The recipe has several parts.

One of my favorite dishes to make is a curried chicken pot pie, with apples and raisins instead of the traditional veg spiced with curry powder and cinnamon. I'm having trouble thinking of sides, though. At first rice came to mind, but I think a starch wouldn't be a good idea because of the pie crust. I picked up a few spice/seasoning packets from the local Indian grocery so I could experiment at home a little. One of them is for chicken tikka masala. The last item called for on the packaging is "single or double cream" which, as far as I can tell, isn't really popular in the US (at least not called by those terms). I've come to pick your brain. My gent loves a good butter chicken/murgh mahkani and I'd like to wow him with some! :D I've got a pretty well-stocked spice cupboard, but live in a big city so getting other spices won't be a problem, if necessary.

I tried googling, but there is an overwhelming amount of blogs, most of which seemed to have been updated last about five years ago.
